Ocriculum AD 168 brings the Ocriculum Archaeological Area back into the atmosphere of the age of Marcus Aurelius with three days of reenactment scheduled from May 29 to 31, 2026 in Otricoli.
The guiding thread of the edition is wine in the Roman world, told through meetings, tastings, tabernae, educational moments and scenes of daily life that animate the archaeological site.
The calendar includes conferences, archaeo-trekking, guided tours, workshops, shows, ancient music, dances, gladiatorial games and activities inspired by the material and ritual culture of the ancient city. The event combines historical rigor, community participation and direct public engagement.
