Florence hosts the new edition of the Florence Dance Festival, the historic event that since 1989 has promoted classical and contemporary dance in the Tuscan capital.
The main stage will be set up in the monumental setting of the Grand Cloister of Santa Maria Novella, where evocative evening performances will take place under the stars. This year’s program, which also extends to Fiesole and Mugello, features performances by prestigious international companies, including Portugal’s Vortice Dance Company with Carmina Burana. The cloister is wheelchair accessible.
