In the historic heart of Cagliari, the time-honored Piazza Del Carmine is transformed into a captivating open-air stage to welcome Carmine 2026, the prestigious multidisciplinary festival organized by CeDAC with the support of the municipal administration.

The lineup, running from June 19 to September 12, 2026, offers the public 18 free-admission events spanning theater, poetry, concerts, dance and contemporary circus. It brings together leading figures from Italy’s theatrical and literary scene, special showcases of writer-led comedy, and themed musical evenings paying tribute to the great voices of Italian songwriting.

Families and younger audiences are well catered for with creative workshops and playful trails inspired by the island’s traditions. This rich and accessible cultural offering aims to foster artistic sharing and community spirit in the heart of the city.
