The Walking Man 2026: Nature, Walking, and Performances around the Pietra di Bismantova

In the heart of the Reggio Apennines, at the foot of the monumental Bismantova Stone in the municipality of Castelnovo ne’ Monti, The Walking Man takes place, the original ‘NonFestival’ that weaves together nature, art, and spirituality.

Scheduled from June 20 to September 18, 2026, the event invites the audience to rediscover the value of slow walking and listening to the landscape. The rich program includes guided hikes along the trails of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park, acoustic concerts at sunrise, theatrical performances in the shade of the beech forests, and dialogues with writers, philosophers, and artists.

A regenerating experience for living the mountain authentically, among silence, poetic inspiration, and spectacular panoramas.
