A fascinating journey into the depths of the earth among Alpine legends and human ingenuity: the historic Erdemolo Mine (known in the local dialect as Grua va Hardimbl) opens its tunnels in Palù del Fersina, in the evocative Valle dei Mòcheni.
Equipped with a helmet and waterproof cape, hikers can explore the original levels hand-dug by miners in the late Middle Ages in search of copper. The experience combines the scenic beauty of the mountain access path with the mining heritage of the high mountains, offering a valuable insight into the cultural identity of this charming Trentino valley.
