Cesco Magnolato in Oderzo: A Major Retrospective Marking the Centenary of His Birth

Cesco Magnolato in Oderzo: the major retrospective for the centenary of his birth
From 24 October 2026 to 24 January 2027, the exhibition halls of the Fondazione Oderzo Cultura at Palazzo Foscolo pay tribute to Cesco Magnolato, a key figure in twentieth-century Italian engraving and painting.

The retrospective exhibition, entitled ‘The Light That Does Not Die’, traces the master’s intense expressive quest across views of the reclaimed lowlands, work in the fields, the horrors of war and the poetry of the Veneto’s river landscapes.

The exhibition is open Wednesday to Sunday with guided tours and educational workshops for students and contemporary art enthusiasts.
