Earth and Fire: International Ceramics Exhibition in Castiglioncello

At the La Virgola di Castiglioncello exhibition centre, in the municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, an intense international ceramics exhibition takes the stage. Created for the eighth Franciscan centenary, the showcase features creations shaped by eight globally renowned artists during a dedicated creative residency.

Forty sculptural works in terracotta give form to universal themes of harmony, fraternity and care for creation. Through the encounter between earthly matter, the heat of fire and technical skill, visitors can appreciate the recent renovation of the historic halls overlooking the Livorno coast, immersing themselves in an artistic dialogue of deep spirituality.
