💡 Did You Know…?
During restoration work, graffiti and writings left by German soldiers who occupied the fortress after September 8, 1943, were uncovered. The monumental fireplace in the main hall still bears the coat of arms of the Calboli counts, the fortress’s first owners in the 14th century. In winter, when fog envelops the valley, the fortress appears suspended among the clouds, creating an almost surreal atmosphere.
