Legend has it that the castle is haunted by the ghost of a white lady who appears on full moon nights. The story tells of a young noblewoman who died for love. During restoration work, ancient Roman coins and medieval ceramics were uncovered, evidence of the site’s long history. The well in the main courtyard, over 30 meters deep, is said to conceal a secret passage that connected the castle to the valley below.
