💡 Did You Know…?
Frascarolo Castle was built in the 12th century as a defensive outpost for the Marliani family, lords of Induno Olona. In the 16th century, it passed to the Castiglioni family, who transformed it into a noble residence. Legend has it that a secret underground passage connected the castle to the Church of San Giovanni Battista, used during invasions to safeguard precious objects. Today, despite restorations, it retains its medieval atmosphere intact.
