The outdoor plaza of Rome’s famous MAXXI museum is transformed by HPO – Rubato, a temporary public architecture designed to encourage lingering, encounter, and sharing among citizens.
The structure, conceived by the HPO collective, reinterprets urban elements with sculptural lines and lightweight materials, creating shaded islands and multifunctional platforms. Throughout the season, the space hosts cultural dialogues, contemporary art encounters, and moments of relaxation for audiences of all ages.
An intervention that enhances the public dimension of the museum in Rome and invites people to experience contemporary architecture as a collective good.
