Friday, June 5, 2026 the AstrĆ gali Hall in Lecce opens its doors to folk songs with a performance scheduled at 8:30 PM as part of the Teatri a Sud series.
The evening’s protagonist is Anna Cinzia Villani, who takes the stage together with the choir Ugole Villane, born from the folk singing workshop developed during the year with AstrĆ gali Teatro.
The musical encounter brings to the stage melodies from the peasant and polyvocal tradition, returning to the audience the work carried out between study, oral transmission, and shared choral practice.
