Winter in Trentino comes alive with warmth and atmosphere at the famous Trento Christmas Market, an unmissable event that turns the city centre into a truly enchanted village.
Strolling among the characteristic wooden chalets in Piazza Fiera and Piazza Cesare Battisti, visitors can admire fine local craft creations, handcrafted candles and artefacts made from alpine wood. There are also tempting stops to warm up with spiced mulled wine, tasty strauben, warm canederli dumplings and traditional Alpine sweets, all framed by imposing medieval walls and sparkling light displays.
