Cortona Comics 2026 Brings Comics, Games, and Pop Culture to the Historic Center

From June 5 to 7, 2026, the historic center of Cortona hosts a new edition of Cortona Comics, a widespread festival intertwining comics, shows, games, and pop culture in the city’s squares, cloisters, museums, and exhibition spaces.

The 2026 theme is Secret Identities, tied to the concert by Tony Pitony at the Santi Tiezzi Municipal Stadium and the exhibition PK – Behind the Mask in the Chiostro di Sant’Agostino. The program also includes the solo show of Alessandro Bocci at MAEC and a traveling exhibition in the downtown shop windows.

Among the announced areas are Piazza Signorelli for shows and entertainment, Piazza Garibaldi with food and a themed market, Piazza della Repubblica with activities for all ages, and the Artist Alley featuring over 30 Italian authors. Additionally, there will be workshops, masterclasses, retrogaming, an esports area, and activities with LEGO Education. The public areas are free, while some experiences require a wristband or subscription.
