Verona takes part in the international celebrations of Art Nouveau Week, a whole week dedicated to rediscovering the Liberty style and early 20th-century architecture. The central theme of this edition is the sea and its decorative forms, reflected in the facades of the city’s historic buildings through floral friezes, sculpted shells, and sinuous marine motifs reminiscent of waves.
The Verona program offers the guided itinerary Hidden Liberty, a suggestive urban walk starting from Ponte Garibaldi and winding through residential neighborhoods to discover private villas exceptionally open to the public, ending in the monumental gardens of Villa Rossi Pavesi.
