Secret Modena: Theatrical Tours of the Ghirlandina Tower and the Historic Municipal Halls
The monumental Ghirlandina Tower, Modena’s civic emblem, reveals itself to the public in an unusual and engaging guise until 22 November 2026 through a series of theatrical guided tours.

The initiative allows visitors to climb the levels of the famous bell tower accompanied by a tour guide and theatrical performers who give voice to historical figures and events from Modena’s past. The narrative route also extends to the magnificent historic halls of the nearby Town Hall and to the fascinating underground spaces of the former Albergo Diurno.

An educational and recreational format suitable for residents and tourists of all ages, designed to create a dialogue between the medieval architecture of the UNESCO site and contemporary theatre.
