Open Monuments 2026: Thirty Years of Culture in Sardinia and Italy

The famous event Monumenti Aperti celebrates its thirtieth anniversary with a packed calendar of extraordinary openings covering the entire island of Sardinia and important national locations. The initiative, coordinated by the Imago Mundi Association, allows free visits to hundreds of historical and natural heritage sites.

The Sardinian capital, Cagliari, will officially kick off the free visits, which will then unfold in several seasonal windows involving dozens of municipalities and thousands of students and volunteers ready to tell the beauties and secrets of the artistic and cultural heritage.
