Renaissance and Masterpieces in L'Aquila: A Series of Art Encounters at the National Museum of Abruzzo
As part of the prestigious celebrations for L’Aquila Italian Capital of Culture 2026, the MuNDA – National Museum of Abruzzo presents an elegant series of lectures entitled The Visitation in L’Aquila.

Hosted in the historic museum spaces of the Abruzzo capital, the events bring together academics, curators and internationally renowned experts who uncover the art-historical narratives surrounding Raphael‘s masterpiece and its dialogue with the painting of Pontormo. A cultural occasion of the highest calibre in which to rediscover Abruzzo’s central role in Renaissance patronage and the circulation of art.
