Nocera Longobarda 2026: A Historical Reenactment Amid Encampments and Ancient Customs

From 18 to 20 September 2026, the historic centre of Nocera Umbra steps back in time to host the fifth edition of Nocera Longobarda, a detailed historical reenactment celebrating the period when the town was an influential duchy and strategic hub.

The evocative streets of the fortress come alive with educational stalls on ancient crafts, military encampments of warriors, archery demonstrations and processions in costumes faithfully recreated from historical sources.

The neighbourhood taverns opened for the occasion invite visitors to discover tasty dishes inspired by Umbrian medieval tradition, accompanied by musicians, jugglers and fire performances.
