The Museum of Ships in Fiumicino provides the backdrop for Ostiensia, an evocative series of evenings with archaeological and educational themes, scheduled every Saturday until the end of September 2026.
Organized in collaboration with the Suadela Cultural Association, the event brings the maritime routes, trade, and daily habits of ancient Rome back to life through historical costume reenactments and interactive educational workshops. From shipbuilding and fishing techniques to garum production, and on to demonstrations by the Roman army and ancient goldsmithing rituals.
An engaging experience suitable for both archaeology enthusiasts and families with children, open from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
