Guided Tour of the Medieval Walled City of Montagnana

An extraordinary guided tour will take you to discover the magnificent walled city of Montagnana. The itinerary starts from the Tourist Office at 3:30 PM and takes place every third Sunday of the month (excluding the summer months of July and August). Accompanied by expert guides from the Murabilia Association, you will visit the monumental Castle of San Zeno, stroll along the green moat admiring from the outside the Palladian Villa Pisani-Placco, and walk along the splendid 14th-century Carrarese city walls up to the Rocca degli Alberi. The tour will also touch the Venetian palaces and will end inside the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, keeper of masterpieces by Paolo Veronese and Giorgione. Reservation is required.
