It is a hiking route with no technical difficulties, but you should tackle it with suitable footwear and water.
– Panoramic summit: 360° views over Arera, Alben, Menna and Grem.
– Varied route: open meadows, woodland, ridge and steep final sections.
– Two access points: from Lepreno via CAI 598, or from Spettino and Corone via 598A.
– Cross and summit register at the top, to round off the hike.

💡 Did You Know…?
On the summit of Monte Gioco, the metal cross and the summit register are the most recognisable arrival points. The current name is recent: originally the mountain was called Monte Zucco, to avoid confusion with the mountain of the same name above San Pellegrino. On the way back you pass votive shrines and the Salvarizza Pass with its chapel.
