The picturesque village of Barni (CO) hosts the 25 October 2026 the new edition of the Donkey Festival – Fera de Barni. The initiative, the jewel in the crown of the community, offers a day discovering the historical trades of rural life. For children, there are workshops and educational experiences such as ‘The Secrets of Lucius Cortinarius’ (at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.) to become farmers for a day. Along the streets of the historic center, there will be stalls with local products, traditional wooden games for families, and donkey exhibitions. Admission is free.
