In September, Piazza Buondelmonti in Impruneta becomes the open-air stage for the historic Grape Festival, one of Tuscany’s most spectacular and long-running events, active since 1928.
The four city districts — Sante Marie, Sant’Antonio, Fornaci, and Pallò — compete for victory with impressive allegorical floats, tailored costumes, and meticulously crafted choreography. The event celebrates the culture of the vine and Chianti wine with tastings, typical markets, and neighborhood dinners open to both locals and tourists.
An unmissable event to experience the authentic Tuscan spirit up close and admire the community passion that animates this Florentine village.
