From January to December 2026, L’Aquila will open its courtyards, oratories, and historic residences on a monthly basis—places typically less accessible—transforming the city center into a widespread itinerary dedicated to architecture and urban memory.
The project involves bookable guided tours and free access to numerous historic palaces, with days scheduled throughout the year and visiting hours between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This initiative is part of the L’Aquila Italian Capital of Culture 2026 program and highlights some of the city’s most significant sites.
