In Talamello, L'Ambra Celebrates Pit Cheese with Tastings and Village Charm
On Sundays, November 15 and 22, 2026, Talamello dedicates two days to its most representative specialty with L’Ambra di Talamello, an event that highlights the fossa cheese of Valmarecchia and the gastronomic identity of the village.

From the morning, visitors can witness the sfossatura, the symbolic moment when the pits where the cheese has aged for over three months are opened. The initiative takes its name from Tonino Guerra, who linked the product to its hues, intense aroma, and distinctive taste.

Along the streets of the village, food stalls and typical products from various Italian regions find their place, in dialogue with local tradition. Thus, the event presents itself as a journey through flavors, food craftsmanship, and autumn atmosphere in the heart of Valmarecchia.
